Today we look at lesson plans
using the assure model. This session was a learning experience for me, because
I learned things about planning a lesson that I didn’t know such as the level
of degree within the objectives. The knowledge that I gain today, will stay
with me forever, for the tutor was very patient in teaching this lesson and she
brought me from the unknown to the knowledgeable. In reflecting, I believe that when new
teachers are employed, before placing them in the classroom, some formal
training should be given. This will prevent untrained teachers from doing harm
with these children’s’ education and future.
In order for a teacher to
carry out his/her duties, they must plan; it is the key for a teacher to be
productive and effective. The teacher
must plan in order to have the objectives which are the outcome of the lesson,
which students should know or should achieve. ICT enhances most lessons; it is
the trend of the world but a very valuable trend. There’s much potential for
the classrooms, in terms of creativity and research for our students, the world
is at their finger tips.
